he gave me such a beautiful flower, one that he thinks looks like me. i wish i knew the name of this kind of flower. if anyone knows, let me know .

got a sweet gift from him today, this awesome owl vase currently being used to hold my paintbrushes :) i love it so much. again thank you Fernando for the thoughtful gift =] my owl collection is growing!

Happy Birthday to my love

Today is his birthday! I couldn't be more happier than being a part of his birthday and making him feel special and showing him how much I love him. We had a fantastic birthday weekend with very close special friends that is like family to us, we couldn't have asked for more really but having them share  this birthday  with him and I. There was music making with Fernando's band, drunken checkers. There was pizza, ice cream and corn dogs, the most delicious corn dogs you can ever have at this one location in San Francisco. They are to die for. There was a trip to the Exploratorium musuem, In-n-Out of course, and dinner with friends for some tacos, good chips and salsa and churros, along with good music and photos for memories. And today amazing Chinese food for dinner and a birthday card and all my love.  Love, I just hope you had a veryyyyyy happy birthday and that you enjoyed it all. I love you

and that was yesterday when San Francisco had beautiful weather.

though I am more of an autumn and winter type of girl, the warm sun from yesterday was rather very nice.

we walked to Boogaloo's for some breakfast and got a table outside which was perfect with the weather, french toast, eggs, and apple chicken sausage, iced coffee :) mm mmm. Dolores park was filled with people and him and I went out for some ice cream at this great place by the park, chocolate coconut for him and a banana split for me. How I missed going out for ice cream :D it was sooo good.  We stopped by my favorite book store, purchased an Edgar Allan Poe book and later we looked at movies at a video rental store. Have to say, our sunny Saturday was pretty much perfect and sweet :)

there's nothing like staying in & enjoying a movie together, laughing,
putting my head on his shoulder, holding hands, eating food & snacks, a beer here & there, or a snapple,
me maybe talking to much during the movie haha,
( yea..i know, can't help it)

Every Hour Without Sunlight

Spending a single night apart from her is very difficult to say the least.
My whole life I never knew that what would put my mind to rest, was knowing that the warmth of her presence next to me would put my dreams in their rightful place.

Last Night

We had a little falling out.
It's always one person that gets carried away and it becomes too big.
Plus one of us embarrassed themselves by going all the way across the city to ring up the others' apartment.

2012 in San Francisco and a visit to Sacramento

New Years was spent well with Fernando along with our good friend Josh and a new friend, Scott that we met through Josh. We had so much fun, walking around the city, beer and champagne, fireworks at the Pier, first New Years kiss, rooftop party and pizza,( well Fernando wanted Pizza at 2am). I seriously had the best New Years ever and my first one away from home. I'm so happy our year started off so nice :) 

On New Year's Day we decided to rent a car and head somewhere! We were deciding between Monterrey, Santa Cruz or Sacramento and we went with....Sacramento! I had never been to our state capital, so I was excited to explore somewhere new :D Our roadtrip was just about 1 hour and 30 mins but we did stop at In-N-Out on the way for some delicious burgers because we were starving. Sacramento was nice, felt like and looked a lot like autumn there. We visited the Sacramento's White House which was very pretty, walked all around the park and took a look at some of it's history. Also there were a lot of orange trees at the park so the air smelled very much like citrus which was nice. We couldn't tour the inside because it was closed due to the holiday but I very much still enjoyed visiting there with Fernando :) We explored Old Sacramento last which was preserved to keep it's vintage look. I really loved that place, there was just a bunch of restaurants, and shops and I also would have liked to take a photo but it was getting dark to take any pictures. Other than that, the trip there and back was nice and am very happy to have had a wonderful New Year's with no other than Fernando.

Evelyn's Christmas/Birthday Gift

It's a surprise that takes a very long time to make.
I will list hints and anyone that guesses it will get the answer right away and then Evelyn (who is dying to know) will know.
