A look back of our 2011

so the year is coming to an end.
I have to say 2011 wouldn't have been the same without him
so thank you
for all the smiles, laughter, adventures and all these memories we made together
good and bad but we got through them
and hopefully this new year brings us good things our way

what are you doing new years eve? :)

looks a bit like my ukulele in the video... well anyways i really absolutely love this video, pretty similar to what Fernando and i tried to do with our band Goldenrod tapes which was to make music with my ukulele and him with his guitar. ha :) but its pretty much my fault for not 100% learning to play my ukulele, I know a little bit but I'm not as good yet like I hoped to be and its been a year since i bought my ukulele too... man, I'm such a procrastinator...

birthday

what a great way to start off my birthday than with a little nice surprise from him through skype. My birthday morning began with a huge smile, seeing him & his surprise. Blue birthday ribbon hanging all around his room, a birthday card but not just any birthday card ( Star Wars with Yoda on it :D ) with a sweet message by him. A blueberry muffin with a blue candle on top in which I made about 3 wishes and yes it is possible to blow out candles from 300 miles away ;) . And a sweet little happy birthday song with the ukulele. I couldn't have asked for more, it was all very awesome and wonderful and I can't thank him enough. But having him be a part of my birthday this year has to be the best thing ever.

Today is her birthday.
I woke up early after a late night of setting up a surprise for her 300 miles away.
The most I can do until Saturday when she's back.
